“I love this thing,” I say to David as I cradle the green plastic grate in my hands. “Best $3.99 I’ve ever spent.”
“I’m not saying it’s not great, but that took you way more than 60 seconds,” he replies.
The result of that conversation? This video. Will the 60-Second Pomegranate Deseeder live up to the hype?
What’s your favorite way of deseeding pomegranates?

Genius. I need one.
Jen I see an endorsement coming your way. Nice work and great site.
Why are you the cutest thing there ever was?
I want one of these! And yes, this video is totally adorable. I found you through Eat, Lift, and Be Happy.
Thanks, guys! YOU’RE the cutest!
Admit it…you wanted the instructions to sound dirty!
P.S. I’m sold
Steve,
You got me…I always want the instructions to sound dirty. Post coming on this topic tomorrow morning!:)
Four Score (and 7 Years Ago)!!! Hahaha… love it. Will now eat more poms because of this device
I KNEW you would catch that!
Love the video Jen. Nice work completing the deseeding in under a minute! My only question…where did you get it for $3.99? I just looked on Amazon and it’s going for $14. Your post may have upset the scale of supply and demand and now it’s almost quadrupled in price
Hey, Geoff,
I got mine at a little local market, but I swear they used to sell them on the http://www.seedout.com site — I wonder if they’re running low? I’ve heard they sell them for $3 plus shipping — looks like you can email this guy if you want to order three of them…maybe as gifts? dix.novel@hotmail.com (maybe also cc: info@seedout.com).
Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
I don’t want to be a spoilsport for my very first comment on this blog (which is awsome, by the way !) but… you don’t really need the deseeder, just the spoon…

(and the video is pretty cute too !)
Just discovered your blog tonight. LOVING it! this video was great and Iwas just about to order one when I read Pasadenas comment. Got me thinking maybe if I put my apple corer over a bowl and rest the Pom on that, then use the spoon. Could get the same results, so picking up poms tomorrow to test this theory!
